Near Mint. What a superb piece! Everyone wants a stoneware torpedo, this is a little beauty, with emphasis on the word LITTLE! They may all be only 170 mm, having not handled any in the past I do not know the standard size for these things, this would have only had around 7 ounces or so like a small size codd. The lip is perfect, a white spot to the side is underglaze from making. Unglazed or poorly glazed spot near the base point, there are some making splits in this region. Some scratches around the base point and lower body. The Belper Potteries part of the potters stamp is illegible, other parts of this are light as well. Bathgate & Co is a little light as well.
