Magnes. / Calc. Pond. Base Mark: W. N. Walton / Patd Sept 23d 1862. Remains of label to rear for Skinner, Chemist, Stirling. Poison Cobalt Label under glass. Cobalt. 1 Gallon. 328 mm without stopper. 1860s
Very Good. Shallow 12 x 10 mm flake to upper lip. Contents residue staining internally. Label under glass is really good, some minor deterioration around the edges. Some usage wear under the base. Some scratches to the outside and a bit of grime. Paper label to rear is poor, stained and discoloured, a fair bit of this is missing. Original stopper is in great condition, there is one small flake to lower stopper. Superb piece, this is huge. Similar size to the Aqua Lavand sold in auction 24, but this is a wide neck item. Grade: 7.7 Estimate: $400 - 600
