Nailsea type decanter. Polished pontil to base. Early Glass Nailsea Pale Amber decanter. Opal or milk glass patterns. Tool finished lip. 20 oz. 238 mm. 1840s-1850s
Excellent. Some dullness. Has seen a bit of use with quite a bit of wear on the base. Some internal stain from use. Ground inner neck - looks like it would have had a stopper. Magnificent early piece of glass. Grade: 8 Estimate: $200 - 250
