Pair of medium sized Stone Inks: 1. Caldwell's Inks / Melbourne. 2. Thomas's Ink (Victoria) Ink Stoneware Stoneware. Yellowish & Brown glazes. Impressed. 15 oz. 191 & 180 mm. 1910s
The Caldwell's is Excellent. Some red ink has leaked through in places. Minor marks. Some powder in the impressed stamp to highlight it. The Thomas is Excellent. It has a small glaze blowout on the lip and a shallow chip along the pouring lip. Nice drippy glaze. Great pair of impressed inks. Quite scarce ones, especially in these sizes.
