Austral / Whisky (etched in script print). Sunburst to base. (Tasmania?) Spirits Whisky/Whiskey Clear cut glass decanter. Ground inner neck with stopper (Stopper is not the original but fits OK). About 20 oz. 164 mm without stopper. 1900s
Very Good. A bit of wear from use. Some haze and minor scuffs and scratches. A really nice decanter. Don't know a lot about Austral Whisky but there was a yacht race for the Austral Whisky trophy on the Tamar River in Tasmania in 1901. (TAMAR YACHT CLUB CAMP FIRE. (1901, December 2).
