Oronsay was launched in 1924 and sailed from London to Australia & New Zealand in the 1920s - 1930s. At the outbreak of World War II, Oronsay was taken up as a troop ship and served in several famous actions before being torpedoed by an Italian submarine in October 1942 and sinking.
