Good. (6.5). We have been told this was made for the S. S. Hippalos, which was a ship that sank off New Zealand in 1909. This has a dull appearance through glaze wear throughout. Some nicks and discoloured wear around the rim. The blue outer rim design is worn as well. Plenty of scratches and other marks. A rare one I believe, must date to prior to 1898 with the Bodley potters mark on it. We also have a wall plaque for the Hippalos in this auction. Estimate: $75-100
