M. Robinson / Trade Mark / (Rooster) / Warragul. Base mark: M. (Victoria). Aerated Water. Codd. Applied top. All Way pour. Aqua. 10 oz. 230 mm. 1900s
Excellent. (8). Bubbles to left lip are fully contained with no damage, but are quite big - add to the appeal of this bottle in my mind. Upper rear lip does have a small open bubble. Minor spots of marble wear to inner chamber at each end. Open bubble to rear chamber. Slightly scuffed scratch or two to upper rear. Upper front right has a scuffed scratch near a couple of slightly discoloured fisheyes, there is a discoloured nibbled impact surface flake to the top of the first N of Robinson. A few fisheyes around the body. Some inner dirt, this will soak out. Nibbled small flake to the first R of Warragul. Some very fine minor high point wear to some of the embossing. The trade mark is amazingly detailed and crisp with not marks. Some light scratches. Extremely rare taller variety, note that the trade mark is within a circle, these usually are within an oval on the more standard shorter varieties. This is the first we have sold. Estimate: $2000-2500
