Early Onion Bottle with Short Neck. Pontil to base.. Early Glass. Black Glass. Early Onion Bottle with Short Neck and Pontil. Olive Green. 150 mm. Early 18th century
Very Good. (7.2). The flared out applied lip ring has a nibbled flake of about 10 x 4 mm to the underside, another similar one around to the right of this and some nicks to the outer edge of this ring as well. Milky curved streaked line down the neck and across the shoulder is a making mark. 4 x 3 mm flake type mark near base edge has an inclusion in the top of it, this is a making mark. Usage wear to the heel. Some inner stain. A bit of dullness externally with some scratches and scuffs. This has a shorter neck to most of the other examples that we have sold. Estimate: $200-300
