B & A pickle with coat of arms to front shoulder. Leaf decoration to rest of shoulder. Base Mark: British Registration Diamond. Goldfields Pickle Applied top. Ring in neck. Bulbous shoulder with wreath patern around, coat of arms in middle. B & A in banner to upper body. Square shape. Aqua. Pint. 227 mm. 1850s
Good. Polished. Some etching remains to inner neck. Crude lip folds are all from making. Outer surface is very smooth from the polish, embossing is a tad rounded. One very small flake has been ground from the edge half way down. Oiled internally. Just a couple of scratches remain. This is different to the example sold in the last auction as this has the registration diamond underneath. Grade: 6.7 Estimate: $200 - 250
