Two Rows of Two Chinese Characters above One Row of Five Larger Chinese Characters. No makers mark. (China). Chinese. Wine. Wide round ceramic bottle. Shouldered. Light tan top. Blue Print. 1 Quart. 223 mm. 1900s+
Very Good. (7.2). 9 x 7 mm rudimentary repair to left rear lip, looks like a little upper lip flaking has been filled here roughly as well. A few small flakes to left base edge. Scrape type mark to front base edge, the heel here looks to have been ground and the inner heel has some flaking, this all looks to be from making. Discolouration. Crazed throughout, some of this has a dark appearance bordering on hairlines. A really fat body example. Nice item, likely from the Wing Lee Wai company that had quite a range of these rice wine bottles. Estimate: $100-150
