W. Watson / Sydney (in slug plate to one side). (New South Wales). Aerated Water. Torpedo. Torpedo. Applied square collar top. Aqua. 10 oz. 205 mm. 1840s - 1850s
Repaired. (0). Has had a top glued on and the top itself has been partly rebuilt and resin also used to disguise the join. Important to note that these usually have a long neck but if you weren't expecting that you could easily accept this as an original top, very good job done with the join. The body of the bottle has been polished. Some pitting and small marks remain. Very rare early Sydney torpedo. Looks pretty good as a shelf example. Estimate: $200-400
