Very Good. (7). Possibly polished. Either that, or lacquered? Nick to rear chamber has a small 4 x 2 mm discoloured bruise from it. 4 x 2 mm flake to D of Davis. The A next to this has a little discoloured bruise on it. Some little fisheyes and impact marks scattered around. Some lightly pitted scratches to the chamber, more heavily pitted examples around the upper body and shoulder region and a few others lower down. Very rare, sought after bottle from Tasmania. Burnie used to be called Emu Bay, this bottle dates to that period and helps to explain the emu trade mark with that pictured and simply the word Bay below, a clever play on words. We have never sold one of these before. Estimate: $1000-1500
