N/A. (N/A). 1. Good. No lid. Saponis translates to soap, this soap based contents has leached through the pottery leaving a discoloured look throughout. Several flakes around the rim. Lid seat has some flakes as well, one of the smaller ones has oddly been filled and coloured. 2. Very Good. This has a lid which has a chip and a flake to the under edge of the knob. The jar has one inner rim chip. Some grime. Some scratches. Label is discoloured with some foxing to the edges and some wear. 3. Good. This has a lid which has three flakes to the bottom rim and is discoloured with some scratches. The jar has a 100 mm crack down from the top rim. Flake to outer front left lid seat. Crazing throughout. Hairline down from left rim. Some wear to the gold print in places. 4. Very Good. This has a lid which has the knob broken off and is in two pieces, also has a chip. Jar is stained. Some grime. Crazing throughout. Little nick or two. Lovely example. 5. Very Good. This has a lid which has had the knob glued back on, also has a bottom of now chip. Grimy. The jar has a tiny glaze scrape to outer rim, a fine making split or two, some very light discolouration. 6. Excellent. This has a lid that has a fine Y shaped hairline, some grime. Jar has some discolouration. Tiny upper lid seat flake and a couple of scrapes near this too. Some grime. Some scratches and minor marks. Great selection of apothecary jars. Estimate: $100-150
