B. T. Moore / Norwood. Potters Stamp: The Bendigo Pottery / Epsom / Bendigo. (South Australia). Ginger Beer. Cork Stoppered. Dump shape. All tan. Black print. 10 oz. 170 mm. 1900s
Very Good. (7). Wear around upper lip is through the glaze. 9 x 4 mm very shallow flake to upper right shoulder. A few flakes and marks under the heel are small and likely potters pulls from making. Main thing with this is little glaze flakes and nicks all over! By all over, I do mean the lip, the shoulder and the body. Not sure what these were caused by? They are small though in most cases, only a couple of slightly larger flakes amongst these and they are very shallow. Thin line of wear around shoulder. Short scratch through the glaze to upper rear. Remains a solid example of a rare South Australian ginger beer that is highly sought after. Estimate: $1000-1500
